Google, JumpCloud launch IT management, productivity platform

Google Cloud is partnering with OurCrowd portfolio company JumpCloud to offer a new platform allowing businesses to strengthen their security and management of hybrid workforces, PCR reports.

The new package combines directory services, device management, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication and other functions in a single offering.

In April, JumpCloud announced new mobile management functionality for IOS and Android, and a new mobile app offering centralized information technology and device management from a single pane, and at reduced cost.

The company also won this year’s Global InfoSec Award for Next Gen SMB from Cyber Defense magazine, just one of many honors it has won in recent months. The Global InfoSec Awards recognize global innovations in information security.
