The US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Science and Technology Directorate and the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Innovation Task Force will evaluate the security technology from OurCrowd portfolio company SeeTrue for passenger screening

The company's AI-powered Threat Detection platform will undergo comprehensive testing in US government laboratories and at airport security screenings.

“We are confident that working with DHS, SeeTrue can help make security screening safer and faster for the benefit of passengers across the US,” says Assaf Frenkel, Co-founder and CEO of SeeTrue.

SeeTrue uses artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms to discover prohibited items in bags. By operating beyond human sight, it enables passengers to leave items in bags, reduce manual procedures and increase throughput while maximizing safety.

It connects to existing X-ray and CT scanners, and detects items in real time, making screening fast and secure while improving operational efficiency.
